theCompany is our invitation-only traveling competition team, created for dancers who are ready to commit to a higher level of training, growth, and performance. This program is designed for motivated dancers who thrive in a focused, disciplined environment while still being deeply supported by their dance family. ✨
👯‍♀️Dancers selected for theCompany are part of a dedicated group of advanced students who demonstrate commitment, discipline, coachability, and heart. Placement is determined through an annual audition held at the end of each summer.
💃 Company dancers commit to competing both locally and nationally throughout the season and uphold strong attendance, teamwork, and leadership on and off the stage.
📚 Required Training
Company members are enrolled in 4–6 weekly classes (based on level), including:
    • Ballet
    • Jazz
    • Contemporary
    • Hip Hop
    • Tap & Musicality
    • Technique & Acrobats
    • 1–2 weekly Company rehearsals
This well-rounded curriculum is mandatory and designed to develop confident, versatile, and technically strong dancers.

 

📌 Audition Requirement
Dancers must be registered students of Thea’s Dance Academy to audition & must have a minimum of 1 year dance experience with TDA.
