Important Dates for TDA | Program Ad sales

Happy Monday Dance Family,

Before we get into the deets of this email, please note that Mrs. Maria will be out this week and therefore no one will be working reception. If you have any questions, our instructors will do their best to assist you. Otherwise please give us a call or email and we will assist you as soon as possible.

Please see attached image for the breakdown of important dates you will need to have on your calendar as we approach Recital. Including Ad sales due date, Costume Pick-up and Picture day, Recital, and more!

 

Program fee due March 1st: Each dancer will incur a $50 program fee that will be due on March 1st. This fee covers the cost of your dancer's class costume photo in our Recital Program. You may choose to sell or purchase ad space to waive this fee. Each family will receive one complimentary program in their Recital packet that is given out the week of Recital and additional copies will be available for purchase at Recital. If you would like to sell or purchase ad space, please see the attached Program Ad sales form.

 

-Program ad sales contest: Each year we select a winner for the student who sells the most ad space in our recital program. The winner will receive reserved seating for his/her family at the recital and your dancer will be given an award at our Awards ceremony for the recital. You can either purchase ad space to put pictures/words of encouragement for your child or sell to businesses that would like to advertise in our program. All ad sales will go towards your total amount and must be turned in by March 1st!

-Costume Pickup day: We have moved our costume pick-up day back to being a one-day event to help with organization. All costumes must be picked up at the studio on Friday, March 25th between 5-7 pm. We will have samples of Recital stockings available at this time for you to see and we can also help you with the ordering process so that you can purchase the appropriate recital stockings if needed.(no stockings needed for hip-hop or acro only students.

-Picture day: Picture day is set to be April 4-7th. During this week your student will show up at the studio to take pictures in their costumes with hair and makeup done for our program. A schedule with specific time slots will be sent out at a later date. We do our best to keep the time slots on the same days as your dancer's normal time slot.

If you would like to purchase the group, solo or select group picture you will have that opportunity that day and can also choose to use these pictures in your program ad space if you purchase one. More details will be sent out on this closer to the date.
